Old ivory bracelet w/carved animals by Wilfred Olanna, Eskimo

This bracelet has five animals with scrimshaw features carved on the fresh walrus tusk; darker, "fossil" tusk sets off the white tusk quite nicely. There is a dog, a seal, a walrus, a whale, and a swan.

The bracelet could fit a child or a small adult wrist. Beads could be added between the ivory disks in order to make it a larger size.

The attribution to Wilfred Olanna is based on the signature of "W.O. Shishmaref AK", as well as knowledge of the artist's style.

1 1/4" wide; inside diameter is approximately 5 1/2". Elastic allows the bracelet to slide over the hand.
