Kayak with Seals by Jimmy Arnamissa, Inuit (Inukjuak)

The famed Jimmy Arnamissa has created a lively scene depicting a hunter in his kayak, riding the waves, preparing to hunt seals. The sculpture, made from one piece of stone, includes a spear (made from antler) tied with artificial sinew to a seal float.
