Framed birch bark design by Sierra Henries, Nipmuc Heritage

Sierra Henries is a young artist of Nipmuc heritage. She creates beautiful designs in birch bark, which is native to her home state of Maine. Henries' designs are inspired by traditional work of the Wabenaki as well the work of contemporary artists.
