Shell Corn Maiden by Sandra Quandelacy, Zuni

This two-sided corn maiden is carved from black lip shell with beautiful color variation. The lighter side is adorned with dragonflies; both sides have turquoise, coral, and/or lapis lazuli "buttons". Turquoise chips along the base.

4 1/4" tall x 2 1/4" wide x 3/16" thick. Base is 3/4" wide.
