Prince stone bear by Peter and Dina Gasper, Zuni

This lovely brown bear was carved from "prince" stone by Peter and Dina Gasper. The stone appears to be in the sandstone family. It has a rich brown color, with a blond halo on the bears back. Turquoise inlaid eyes and nostrils complete the picture.
