Steatite corn maiden by Daniel Chattin, Zuni

A corn maiden carved from beautiful light green steatite by Daniel Chattin. Chattin has a minimalist style of carving that conveys a lot through its simplicity.

The maiden has eyes and nose of inlaid jet as well as turquoise and sugillite inlay. Dragonflies and geometric shapes adorn the maiden as well.
