Mother of pearl corn maiden by Daniel Chattin, Zuni
A corn maiden carved from beautiful mother of pearl by Daniel Chattin. Chattin has a minimalist style of carving that conveys a lot through its simplicity.
The maiden has eyes and nose of inlaid jet as well as turquoise, lapis and coral inlay, as well as an unidentified yellow material. Dragonflies and geometric shapes adorn the maiden as well.
