Shell corn maiden by Daniel Chattin, Zuni
A corn maiden, carved from a very white shell by Daniel Chattin. Chattin has a minimalist style of carving that conveys a lot through its simplicity. The shell is beautifully curved. The maiden has eyes of inlaid jet as well as lapis and coral inlay.
